With the persistence of the "canine fan club," our famous (and infamous!) old Australian Shepherd, Flash, got his very own series of wines: 2002 Dog-Gone Good, 2003 Dog In Style, and 2004 Dirty Old Dog. Each wine is Merlot-dominated and features beauty shots of Flash. With his evil blue eye and devious predisposition, we felt that naming his series the “Dog House” was perfect!
Big and bold, full of character, complex and beautifully balanced – all three wines will impress you with layers of sophistication. These wines will (bow) wow you!

About Delectus
Delectus is a family-owned winery that handcrafts premium-quality red wine from select vineyards in the Napa Valley. The word “delectus” is Latin for “the ultimate choice” and reflects absolute dedication to excellence. About the Winemaker
Delectus winemaker Gerhard Reisacher, who founded Delectus with his wife Linda in 1995, grew up in Austria and helped his father in the vineyards at an early age. Rooted by the family’s eight generations of vintners, Gerhard continues the family winemaking tradition here in the Napa Valley.

Future Plans
The future of Delectus Winery includes relocation to the Reisacher’s new 112-acre mountain property, located on the western shoulder of Mount
St. Helena, just north of Calistoga. The property’s elevation rises from 1,200 to 2,200 feet and provides breathtaking views of Knights Valley and Diamond Mountain. Eighteen acres have already been planted on the property, consisting of Cabernet Sauvignon and a small amount of Merlot. Upon completion, all five red Bordeaux varietals and Petite Sirah will be planted on a total of 42 acres. For updates on the project, please visit the Delectus website at www.delectuswinery.com.
