2004 Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley marks the return of the ever-popular valley floor Cabernet that Delectus fans have been requesting. In usual 2004 Delectus fashion (due to a short, hot growing season that year), we encourage you to consume this vintage sooner rather than later, due to the high alcohol level; aging should not extend beyond 2012.
Tasting Notes
Deep, dark and intense aromas of blackberries, Grappa-soaked raisins and graphite fill the nose. The mouth is layered with soft tannins, nice structure and the mid-palate is densely packed and accented with flavors of dark roast coffee and cherries; the finish is long and gentle.
