Tasting Notes: The powerful nose features white pepper, coconut shavings, honeysuckle, vanilla, blackberry jam, and a hint of clove. The palate is complex and massive, still youthful, with minerality, hot spice, and firm tannins. The finish is long but still tight.
Unlike most previous vintages, which were Cab-driven blends, the Cabernet Sauvignon percentage in the 2007 is hovering around 50%, while the balance is made up of Petite Sirah, Cabernet Franc, and a touch of Merlot. Deliciously Delectus!
